PVCs’ collection: Imo declares two-day public holidays

Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha has declared Thursday and Friday as work-free days, to enable civil servants obtain Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

He announced this when addressing head teachers and teachers in public schools at the Imo International Conference Centre, Owerri.

Okorocha said workers and others, who had not collected their PVCs, should do so during the holidays, to enable them vote, adding: “Vote and ensure your votes are counted.”
