Wife of the former acting governor of Bayelsa, Nestor Binabo who was kidnapped, has been released. She was abducted on June 29, was freed yesterday.
A family source who wished to be anonymous said on Sunday that the woman was handed over to a negotiator at Buguma area of Rivers in the early hours of Sunday after the family complied with the kidnappers warning not to involve the police.
The kidnappers gave their victim N18,000 for transport and a big fish when she was released and told her to prepare pepper soup for her husband with the fish... Lol!
