Little Boy Accidentally Fires Up Chopper, Injuring 2

Two people were hurt this weekend after a little boy accidentally fired up a chopper at a Minnesota air show.

Witness Agro Gushwa told the Star Tribune that the boy, who was about 6 years old, walked into the Mayo Clinic helicopter at the Minnesota Air Spectacular and started the chopper.

Its rotor blades then knocked over a sun shield, that injured two people.

A member of Mayo’s aviation team quickly removed the boy from the chopper and then shut it down.

Gushwa, who was working at the show, said that the little boy “ran to his father, who gave him a hug and told him it was OK.”
