The former beauty queen died this morning, July 2nd at an undisclosed Abuja hospital.
According to a family source, she has been battling with cancer for the past two years and gave up the ghost this morning.
Late Rita Anuku was a first cousin of Hon. David Anuku, former commissioner of Special Duties in Delta State and younger sister of Nollywood actor, Hank Anuku. She was crowned Miss Nigeria in 1986, survived by four children, three girls and a boy.
